Why there's no free tier
Reading a commission statement costs us money every single time. Not a rounding-error amount either — a forty-page PDF from a carrier that changed its layout this quarter is real work for real infrastructure, and it happens again next month.
A permanent free plan would have to be small enough to survive that, which means small enough to be useless: one carrier, or last month's data, or the variances hidden until you pay. Every version of that teaches you nothing about whether this works on your book.
So the trial is one complete reconciliation with nothing held back, and after that it's Reconcile, the cheapest of the three above. If the first run finds nothing on your book, we would genuinely rather you walked away than paid us out of optimism.
Billing questions
What does the free reconciliation include?expand_more
One complete run: 1 carrier statement matched against your book, all six buckets, every variance and every reason. Nothing is held back or blurred out, and no card is needed to see it. The one thing you can't do on the trial is a second run.
Can I change plan or cancel later?expand_more
Yes, from your billing settings, at any time. Monthly plans are month-to-month with no setup fee and no minimum term. If a payment fails we keep your reconciliations readable while it's sorted out — locking an agency out of last month's results is not a collections strategy.
What happens if I go over 8 statements on Reconcile?expand_more
The upload is refused with a clear message rather than billed as an overage, and you're offered Recover, which has no statement limit. Limits are checked on the server every time — never in the browser — so the count you see is the count that applies.
Are there per-user charges?expand_more
No. Each plan includes a number of users — 1 on Reconcile, 5 on Recover, 15 on Agency — and nothing is added per seat on top. If you need more people than the plan allows, the next plan up is the answer rather than a line item.
Does the price depend on how big our book is?expand_more
No. Book size doesn't change the price, and there is no limit on carriers on any plan. The only thing metered is statements per month, and only on Reconcile.
