Refund Policy
A full refund within 14 days of your first payment, for any reason. After that, cancel whenever you like — the period you have already paid for is not refunded.

1.The policy, in two sentences
If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, you get all of it back. No reason needed, no conditions about how much of the Service you used.
After those 14 days you can cancel at any time and keep working until the end of the period you have already paid for, but that remaining period is not refunded.
That applies to every plan — Reconcile, Recover and Agency — and to both monthly and annual billing. The rest of this page is how it works in practice.
2.Before you pay at all
Your first reconciliation is free and does not need a card: 1 carrier statement matched against your book, every bucket, every variance and every reason, with nothing blurred out. It exists so you can find out whether this works on your book before any money changes hands. If it finds nothing on your statements, we would rather you walked away than paid us and asked for it back a week later.
3.The 14-day refund
The window runs for 14 days from your first payment on the account — not from each renewal, and not from each plan change. It is a one-time window for deciding whether to buy this at all.
Within it, the refund is the full amount, and you do not have to explain yourself. Processing statements, exporting results and building dispute packets in the meantime does not forfeit it.
Your access ends when the refund is issued, and your data stays where it is until you delete it — see “What happens to your data” below.
4.How to ask
Either route works:
- ·Email support@insurancecommissionreconciliation.com from the address on the account. Say “refund” and that is enough — no form and no retention call.
- ·Or go straight to Paddle, who took the payment, at paddle.net.
We approve eligible requests the same business day where we can. Paddle then issues the refund to the original payment method, and how long it takes to appear is up to your bank — 3 to 10 business days is typical.
5.Cancelling after the window
Cancel from Settings → Billing, which opens your Paddle billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, so nothing disappears the moment you click it, and no further payment is taken.
On a monthly plan that means you keep the rest of the month. On an annual plan it means you keep the rest of the year — and it also means that cancelling in month two of an annual plan does not refund months three to twelve. An annual plan is a year bought at a discount, and the discount is what the commitment pays for. If an annual term is more than you want to commit to, the monthly price of the same plan is on the pricing page.
6.Changing plans
Moving up or down a plan is handled in Settings → Billing. Paddle prorates the change against what you have already paid rather than refunding one subscription and charging for another, so there is nothing to claim back. A plan change does not reopen the 14-day window, and does not close it either if you are still inside it.
7.When we refund without being asked
Some things are our mistake, and the 14 days do not apply to them:
- ·You were billed twice for the same period, or billed after cancelling.
- ·You were charged for a plan you did not buy.
- ·An extended outage on our side meant the Service was unusable for a meaningful part of a period you had paid for.
- ·We withdrew a feature you were paying for mid-period.
Tell us at support@insurancecommissionreconciliation.com and we will put it right. We would rather refund something arguable than argue about it.
8.What is not refundable
- ·The remainder of a period after the 14-day window, on any plan.
- ·Periods that have already been used and completed.
- ·An account we closed for a breach of the Terms of Service.
- ·The Service not finding discrepancies on your statements. The free reconciliation exists so that this is something you learn before paying, and finding nothing owed is a real result — sometimes your carriers paid you correctly.
Nothing here overrides a refund right you have under the law of your state or country, or under Paddle's buyer terms. Where one applies and is more generous, it wins.
9.What happens to your data
A refund or a cancellation does not delete anything. Your statements, your book and your reconciliations stay exactly where they are until you delete them, so coming back later — or exporting on your way out — is always possible.
When you do want it gone: Settings → General exports everything as one spreadsheet, and deletes the organisation. Deletion removes the records immediately and purges the uploaded files from storage within 30 days. Cancel the plan first — deleting the agency does not stop a subscription.
10.Failed payments
If a payment fails, Paddle retries it and emails you. We keep your existing reconciliations readable while that is sorted out — locking an agency out of last month's results is not a collections strategy. If it stays unpaid the subscription lapses, and nothing is deleted when it does.
11.Chargebacks
Please email support@insurancecommissionreconciliation.com before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback against Paddle takes weeks, costs everyone a fee, and suspends the account while it is open — where a refund would have taken an afternoon. We have never refused a reasonable request and would rather not start.
12.Who takes the payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.
So the charge on your card statement comes from Paddle rather than from us, your invoice and any tax on it come from Paddle, and buyer billing support lives at paddle.net. Anything about the Service itself — including a refund you want us to approve — comes to support@insurancecommissionreconciliation.com.
This policy sits alongside the Terms of Service and forms part of the same agreement.
Questions about any of the above — write to support@insurancecommissionreconciliation.com. The other two documents are Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
